*Today marks XMF's official announcement of a long-term hiatus, a full month (June 26th, 2006) after X-Men: The Last Stand is released in theaters, and smashes all competition!

It was with great pleasure to cover one of the most superb film franchises in history, and XMF appreciates and loves each and every one of our visitors, who helped us become the #1 ranked X-Men fan site according to Yahoo! search engine, etc!

This does not mean the definite end of XMF. Like the Phoenix, we will never die. We'll just be resting for a bit, until it's our time to be reborn. The original site itself will remain up forever, and extended areas of XMF (forums, Yahoo! group, fan art, etc) will continue to be updated regularly!
