We're not sure when Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler) made these comments, but it is indeed very interesting to hear. The quote was posted on his official site:

"They’ve told me they can take at least an hour off the process for X3. And maybe I won’t have to wear the lenses.  The producers actually told me that in the next movie lots of interesting things are going to happen to Nightcrawler, and they said they were sure I would like them to which I replied, “What, does he wear a paper bag over his head now?â€?
