X-MEN producer, Ralph Winter was interviewed by Starlog
Magazine recently, about his involvement with 20th Century Fox's
upcoming FANTASTIC FOUR film. He was asked if he was worried
about X3, since X1/X2 director, Bryan Singer left.
"You know what? I'm not worried at all." said Winter. "The third
HARRY POTTER film did just fine with a new director. Bryan, God
bless him, did a great job on X-MEN. He's on his way (with
SUPERMAN), but we're fine, too!"
Winter went on to talk about why the X-Men comic book uniforms
weren't used for the film franchise, and why they decided to go with
the leather: "More realistic." He also mentioned that the
mutant-hunting machines known as the Sentinels, were cut from
X2 because they were "too complicated and expensive."
