Exclusive: Military In X3; Effects

When the Phoenix is out to play, the military will be there in her way? Ron Blecker has joined the X3 crew as a military advisor! After calling in with the company Def Con 5 Incorporated, XMF has learned that Blecker will be advising a "large group of military extras in how to use firearms, and other military tactics for a major scene in the film." Blecker also worked in X2! Not only as the military advisor, but as the technical advisor as well. We're being advised that his work in X3 is for something "major". We pushed for more quotes, but no further comments could be obtained at this time.

In other news, creature effects technician Darin Bouyssou has signed on to work on specific characters in X3, according to the IMDB! We weren't sure what exactly his work would deal with, so we e-mailed the folks at Cinefex for some education and have learned that a creature effects technician "deals with animatronics - a mechanized puppet of sorts." Bouyssou's previous credits includes: Jurassic Park 2, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers The Movie, and Hellboy.
