Just thought I would send this to you as it does involve X-Men 3 in a way. Marvel, still on a creative high because of the sales of Spider-Man 2 (both in box office returns and the DVD sales) will be taking a much more hands on approach with the production of X-Men 3. X-Men and X2 were largely done by Fox (with some input from Avi Arad) but the majority of decisions made on those movies were either made by Bryan Singer or the movie prodcuers who work for the studio.
Marvel however since then has become a big creative force in Hollywood, and Avi Arad has moved up from excutive producer to producer in several Marvel Films. His knowledge of Marvel and it's charecters will be playing a much bigger role in X-Men 3 and will include over-seeing the script writing process, meeting with Hugh Jackman and the other actors to reprise their roles, and will be giving the movies something of a make-over with a new production team that is in the process of being hired even! as we speak of.
If all goes well, X-Men 3 will be a very special movie and will be better then anything Singer did with X-Men and X2.
